Month Year A Note of Farewell              While I am still able, I wish to pen these few words as my memory is slowly slipping away.  This is addressed to my loving family on all the Hawaiian Islands, California and other states, and Europe, my four children whom I refer to as my "Four Diamonds, as they are most priceless to me:" Marissa, Jo, Jason and Brandon, all my dear, dear friends from Waimea High School, Mckinley High School, California State University, Society of American Magicians, International Brotherhood of Magicians, President John McClanahan (sp), IBM #257, Kidabra of Las Vegas, President Bradley Roberts,  The Gary Darwin Club, the Thursday Magicians and Entertainer's Gathering , the wonderful and hard working friends at the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet,  and the love of my life my wife, Katherine Anthony. I have just been released from Valley Spring Hospital here in Las Vegas, and after numerous tests, two cardiologists, two cancer doctors and my personal physician, Dr. Jeffery Ng (5 doctors) the prognosis and the diagnosis is the same - I have lung cancer and brain cancer.  Both are inoperable.  I start chemotherapy and radiological treatment tomorrow, (April 26, 2010).  The battle begins on that date - as in any battle, one either wins or loses.  The final outcome is in God's hands.  Please pray for me if you believe in the power of prayer.  I know I do.  Although I do not wish to appear didactic or idiosyncratic, I am also of the belief that most, if not all, human beings are both good and evil.  Some are more good than evil and some are the opposite.  It is nobody's fault; it is simply the human condition.  I like to think that I am more good than evil as I have always tried to do what's best in all of my endeavors, but we make mistakes sometimes.  To those that I have not been good, please forgive me.  To those who feel I have been good, thank you for your vote of confidence.  Please remember that no one is perfect; therefore, I believe it is best not to expect perfection from anyone.  Instead, focus on the good and hopefully you will end up with a happier, fruitful and long life. Pops and Pastor Ish

I was in Laughlin this week end and unable to post to facebook or send emails, but I have the Prayer request page set to wear I can post to it from almost anywhere. This is the prayer request that went out Friday morning immediately after I heard from Jarmon and then spoke with Pops. Pops is ok, he tried to stop for a light when it turned red and on slick road he went down, the bike went one way, he went the other. His rain suit took all of the damage on his end. No skin was even torn. The bike has a few scrapes, but he was able to get it up and go on to Dallas on it. Pastor Ish is a little worse. He has 5 broken Ribs and a partially collapsed lung. He should be at home now, according to the last report I received. People please pay attention to the prayer request page to keep updated on whats going on.

Update on Pastor Ish

Pastor Ish is in the Athens hospital He has 5 broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung. He should be able to go home either today or tomorrow.

Please pray for Eddie Passmore co-ordinator for Azle Chapter.  He suffered a stroke yesterday 4/13/10, he is having test run today to find out how extensive it is.  We are believing God will give Eddie a total healing.  Azle is a new chapter and has already surpassed a lot of the chapters that have been in place for many years.  The Passmores are a real faithful couple and their desire is to do God's will.  I believe that this will be a testimony for Azle Texas to see what God can do. Patriot Guard Rider Down

It is always a sad note when we hear of one of our fellow riders going down on his or her bike.

Larry Umhe, from Greenville, Texas went down yesterday near Commerce & Cooper Texas. Larry was taken to a local hospital in Sulphur Springs, from there was airlifted to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas where he is in the Intensive Care Unit. ICU,  Room 3363

I just talked with Beth, his wife and she said his major problem right now is internal bleeding from broken ribs and a possible punctured lung. His injuries include facial lacerations and broken bones. He is talking and said he is real sore but still has his smile.

Larry had gone for a ride with his dog (Bude) who was in the trailer behind the bike.  It appears the trailer started to sway which caused him to lose control which ended up as a single vehicle accident. Bude is doing fine, which was one of Larry's biggest worries.

Many of you are familiar with Larry & Beth from the escort rides (Black, Honda Gold Wing,  "Larry's Toy, Greenville, TX")

Beth will be keeping us informed on Larry's condition and we ask that each of you keep them in your prayers.

Prayer Request

on Saturday 4/10 Lady V and I visited some of the bike shops and stops in the Huntsville Al area. It so happens that the Boozefighters were having their annual run for the boobs that day to raise money for breast cancer awareness. We met a group of riders that called themselves the Lap dance Riders. We have since heard that one of those guys we met that day, didn't make it home that night. He was riding alone on his way home and lost control in a curve. He lived just long enough to text his wife and call 911. Please pray for his family. Thank you Rev Red Beard
