First is the prayer request. Dennis "Watchman" Shea is going to have surgery Friday due to complications from his motorcycle accident. The flap in his throat that seperates air and food/drink isn't working. They are going in to put a valve in him, to fix this problem so he'll be able to breathe properly. Please pray for Watchmans continued healing.
Now for the help request. Pops is spending so much time on the road and having to drive his pick up for most of it because he can not carry all of his needed equipment on the bike. Some months the ministry is able to support and help him, but many times recently the funds just haven't been there. When they are not, he doesn't sit at home, he sales something or does without something, so that he can continue to do what God has called him to do. A lot of times it takes all of the ministry funds to pay him and then he ends up having to pay all of his cost out his pocket, so its not like being paid at all. Last night after returning from a trip to the border and on his way to Groesbeck for a rally today and Azle for a service tomorrow, the rear end in his pick up gave out in Lufkin TX. Brother Jimmy and Leroy drove out from Monroe to bring him a loaner and tow his truck back to Jimmy's shop. Jimmy said the cost of this fix will be over $1000. I know Pops doesn't have it and I know Jimmy can't keep eating all of the expense himself. Jimmy has all ready did extensive amounts of work on the front end and brakes and rebuilt the transmission.
